BEN KOTLOWITZ Graduated at UCT in 1982, Member of SA Council of Architects and SA Institute of Architects since 1985. Ben has received the David Haddon prize for Professional Practice. Ben’s portfolio of over 240 projects includes commercial and residential work like 50 and 52 De Wet Rd, BBDO Chiappini Street, 99 Hope Street, Fountain Shopping Centre, Cape Quarter Living, 200 on Main, 12 Primi Piatti Restaurants, 8 Col’cachio Restaurants and 10 Marlboro clothing stores.
HENK MARAIS Graduated at UFS in 1998, Member of SA Council of Architects and SA Institute of Architects.
Henk has been with the company since 1999, making partner in 2008. His portfolio is widely varied and includes completed projects in Bantry Bay, Fresnaye, Camps Bay, Kanonberg Farm, Arabella Country Estate, Wedderwill Country Estate, Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate, Somerset West, Stellenbosch, Durbanville and Hermanus.

Barker & Barton Kenya, a leading firm of quantity surveyors established in Kenya
in 1978, has provided construction cost consultancy for numerous prestigious projects throughout the East African region. They are experienced in cost engineering and construction contract management.
Barker & Barton’s staff complement of 13 consists of: 3 partners, 1 associate, 6 graduate, qualified quantity surveyors, 1 technician and 2 administrative staff. The practice is fully computerised and operates specialised software, which is integrated with the design programs used in Kenya’s building industry.
